personality overview:

[/b]Loyal:[/b] Ever since Hermione met the well-known Harry Potter and befriended both him and Ron, she really has no need to go searching for other friends-they take too much time! Hermione is extremely loyal to Harry and Ron, she will even bend some rules for her best friends. She will always be seen helping Harry solve a mystery, or trying to help Ron with some idiotic mistake he made. She is never seen with anyone from any other house, except maybe punching Malfoy once in a while. Her affection for her two friends grows with each year, and the 4th year she made a break through with Ginny Weasley, who is a year younger that Hermione. Ginny is like a little sister to her, the one she never had. 

[/b]Trustworthy:[/b] Just because Hermione is talkative and a muggle-blood, that doesn't mean she isn't capable of keeping secrets. She is very trustworthy in fact, and you can trust her with anything about anything. However, if it does get out of hand, Hermione might threaten to go and tell, or cast a spell. She has a positive attitude, but when things get over her and out of control... Well, let's just say she hasn't broken any promises anytime; and she doesnt plan to anytime sooner. 

Protective:
Hermione is extremely protective. She has a stubborn streak that gets aggressive occasionally. She is very protective and motherly at times, which sometimes annoys Ron and Harry, but they get over it. She gets concerned when they get tangled up in some kind of wizard mess, and she thinks she always has to save the day with her spells. Honestly, Hermione thinks a bit to much of herself. Sometimes. Now, let's get back to the point. Hermione is very protective over the ones she loves and cares for. Ex; Buckbeak, when they rescued him and Hermione threatened Malfoy.
She also gets a jealous when Ron dates other girls, like last year at Hogwarts for example. She was very upset, but showed her jealousy through anger along with her feelings towards him. 

Intelligent:
Hermione has always had a knack for reading books. She really likes to read and learn about witchcraft, making her an ideal candidate. She has a funny interest in Dark arts, but occasionally can get a little fussy when a teacher declines her answer. Sometimes Hermione can get uptight, like in her third year when the lady insulted her 'future telling' skills. Furious, Hermione stormed out of the room, temper flaring. (teehee). Like that. She is very smart though, Harry and Ron would be no where without her. 

Bold: Hermione may seem quiet, but she sure is a loud mouth. She is not afraid to stand up for herself, no less any of her friends. She despises Malfoy, and all his slytherin friends. Her heart is a good one, but can sometimes get distracted by the evil of others. She is very brave but does not like to twist the rules that often. She is bold when speaking, and she knows what is true. Hermione really isn't that much of scardy cat when it comes to defending her blood. She will get you; Hermione hates when people call her that. Mudblood.

history overview: 
Hermione Jean Granger was born on September 9, 1980. Her parents were both muggles and their jobs were both Dentists. She stayed with her parents until she was about 9 or 10. Then, Hermione suddenly started being able to levitate objects when she got mad, or they either got really hot and started to bloat. When she wanted something to come to her, it sometimes simply, came! Hermione would overwhelmed and started to wonder why this was happening to her. A typical child. Her parents were a bit oblivious to it at first, but then when she got her first letter to Hogwarts they made the arrangements. Hermione made her way there by herself, since her parents were muggles and set off to get her things in Diagon Alley. 

Hermione loaded the train and looked around for open cars and found Harry and Ron sitting together, leaving one bench open. Introducing herself was a pleasure and she soon realized Harry's true identity.. rumors got around, you know. 

Hermione's first year at Howart's was a blur. She met Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley. She was overjoyed when she was placed into Gryffondor, along with her friends. Their first adventure had started there when Harry got into some information he shouldn't have. When the staircases led the trio to the three-headed canine, Hermione showed off her spelling skills at unlocking the door, which Ron was unable too. 
Although they were acquaintances, she never really became close with Harry and Ron until they got into the mess with the troll that got loose in Hogwarts in the girl's bathroom. The three did some amazing teamwork and saved Hermione, leaving her forever grateful of them. They got into a mystery about the Philosopher's stone that possessed a magical power.
Harry's mother, Lily saved them through her love in which she gave up for Harry to live, causing to Voldemort to fall back down again. That's when Hermione, Ron and Harry grew together and bonded in their first year. 

Hermione's second year at Hogwarts was very frightening. Harry found out that he could talk to snakes, while bloody messages were written all over Hogwarts. It had said to be a secret chamber, holding a serpent more powerful than all the rest. When Ginny was placed with Tom Riddle's diary, and then with the help of Hermione's people transformation, (let me tell you she hated looking like a cat). They were able to solve the chamber of secrets and Harry saved Ginny's life with the Sword of Gyrffindor that appeared in the Sorting Hat Dumbledore had sent them. 

Hermione had a blast when arriving for her third year. Well.... At least the part where a criminal wasn't in the castle, Ron wasn't accusing her cat of eating his nasty rat, and the dementors were there. They found Harry's godfather, Sirius. Lupin, there new DADA teacher actually turned out to be a werewolf and almost killed Sirius and Harry. That's when Harry produced his first, amazing patronus and Hermione used her Time Turner to return and save Buckbeak. Harry also learned that Hermione had been using it to go to several more classes than usual, therefore she got education in most of the classes they offered instead of just 5 or 6. They rescued and set free the prisoner of Azkaban. Crookshanks turned out to be innocent, even though Hermione knew that he didn't anyways...
Hermione got to ride Buckbeak, who they sent with Padfoot to go into hiding. Yeah, other than that Hermione was just fine... 

The 4th year at Hogwart's probably was a surprise for all of them. Goblet or no goblet, Hermione couldn't believe that Harry had done such a thing. Hermione was the only one to believe Harry, not even Ron, which made Hermione upset. When Hermione was asked to go to the Yule Ball, she told no one but Ginny, and when they appeared everyone was stunned. Ron disapproved of them, of course, but Hermione' didn't really care because other than that she had a good time. Yes, and then Harry returned with a dead Cedric and announced thet Voldemort had returned and had taken his blood. Hermione was terrified, you can bet on that. Mortified, she went back up to the castle with McGonagal, only to realize then that there was a fake Mad-Eye Moody in his place was a Death Eater. That year was extremely eventful. 

Hermione got on the train for yet another year at Hogwarts. This time, with a new DADA teacher once more... Dolores Umbridge and she worked for the Ministry of Magic. That was an interesting experience. Hermione was made a prefect as well Ron and she got a special encounter there, in the special car of the train as well as their own bathroom and such. Hermione never admitted it, but she was quite pleased with herself that they had chosen her. It felt nice. 
In the middle of her year, she couldn't take the old toad anymore and decided to start up Dumbledore's Army. Harry was hesitate at first, but it was successful. When Umbridge found out though, they were in huge trouble. Hermione was tied up in her office, being tortured by Slytherins. Awful. It had to be abuse to students, yes, it was against the rules. She thought of it and took Umbridge to their 'hiding place.' Well, she was taken care of by the centaurs. Harry and Hermione got off by an inch, thanks to Grawp, Hagrid's half brother. 
When the returned, they had found that Ron and the others had used some of the spells Harry had taught them during DA and ditched the Slytherins. Harry decided to go to the MOM to look for Sirius and so they did. That's when Hermione, Neville, Ron, Luna and Harry battled the group of Death Eaters, including Lucius Malfoy. The Prophet was dropped and everything they had been working for was destroyed.

Hermione started her sixth year at Hogwarts and first, to top it off, jinxed the Quidditch try outs so Ron could be the new Keeper. Later, of course Harry found out, but it's still a secret. A little later on, Hermione found out that Ron was dating Lavender Brown, the annoying girl Hermione had to put up with for six years of her life. Hermione had been furious and was not socially involved with him a lot. She was invited to a good many of Slughorn's parties, and went to them for a while. After when Harry started disappearing long nights, Hermione and Ron were told by him to try to find Draco. Well, Hermione went down with Luna to Snape instead. They lost him and Snape killed Dumbledore, causing an up rage at Hogwarts. The half blood prince turned out to be Snape and Ron and Hermione swore to stay by Harry's side no matter what happened until Voldemort was defeated.

Hermione hadn't exactly loved the way she started off the new semester, but it had been better than the start of her entire year completely. Snape had given them loads of homework, leaving Hermione with most likely, two people she had to proof read when she got back into the Common Room. She hadn't seen Harry at dinner, which was odd, but then again he probably had detention with Umbridge to go to. She had already talked to Professor McGonagall about it, and there was nothing really she could do. She couldn't do much more in the position that she was in. She'd rather stay in Umbridge's good graces instead of being on her bad side and have that little quill of hers write something nasty on her hand and arm. She knew her hatred towards mudbloods and Hermione feared to have that tattooed on her for the rest of her life. She definitely did not want that.

Hermione looked over at the clock on the library wall. She bit her lip. It was almost curfew, and this time Hermione knew better than to be late. She didn't want that for her House. Gryffindor was barely struggling to keep up with Ravenclaw these days. Snape taking away in Potions, Dolores in Defense Against the Dark Arts...Rubbish, it was all rubbish. She looked over her shoulder; two other boys were behind her, both she suspected from..from...Ravenclaw? But no, their robes had another signature on them. They looked like a year or so older than Hermione, and by the looks of it they had no books they were supposedly reading. Hermione became suddenly aware that they might be spies for Dolores Umbridge, stalking her every move. Great. Now she was watching everyone who hung out with Harry, was it? Next Hermione would have Pansy Parkinson around her neck, watching and waiting for her to do something wrong. Brilliant.

Hermione had twenty minutes to get to her common room before she would loose everything. She wasn't worried though, those Slytherin's had now power over her as long as she held her ground and kept in curfew. Hermione was never late, never too early and was always ahead of her game. Packing up her books and quills, Hermione placed them carefully in her bag, slung it over her shoulder and quickly took one last glance at the boys and then walked out of the library. She turned around briefly to watch them get up as well and whisper to each other. Hermione started to walk quickly up the stairs to the common room, the fear of being tortured by the Slytherin's made her jumpy even when escaping. As soon as she got to her sixth step she heard footsteps behind her. She knew who it was, she didn't have to turn and look. She feared them alright, but not until they made a move would she.

The steps behind her quickened, and instantly so did she. She could feel her heart racing as she raced up the last set of stairs before she could finally get into safety. She could feel her face begin to get hot, she knew she was out of breath now. The boys would not give up. But hey! Hermione was a prefect as well, but since the toad had given them prefect powers, so they could do anything. Hermione gritted her teeth, she was finally at the fat lady portrait. Hermione couldn’t stand still her feet were jittery as she said the password quickly and hurried inside. She listened to faint voices outside the picture and then groaned with relief, she was safe.

Hermione was so full of energy now, that ad really been something! Hermione bounced over to the sofa and the fire were she found Ron laying there, looking bored as usual. She grinned. ”Ha! That was brilliant!” she managed, as she was still out of breath. Hermione set down her books and waited for him to get up patiently. Her heart beat was finally slowing down but her adrenaline was not stopping.
